Novelteak is proud to have one of the most advanced and innovative genetic programs in the industry. By consistently analyzing tree characteristics the genetic division selects preferred seed attributes and develop clones. By replicating positive attributes Novelteak ensures increasingly better results for the future. Nursery has an installed capacity of 500.000 plants / year.
Plantation, maintenance and forest management
Distributed along the central and pacific region of Costa Rica and Nicaragua, Novelteak owns almost 20.000 hectares, 10.000 of which are FSC® teak plantations. Plantations are managed by a seasoned team of forest engineers that does not only care about the forest, but also build positive relations with local communities. People is our main concern at all times.
